CE Truck Driver - Furniture Distribution

Responsibilities
As a truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering furniture and home furnishing products to Leen Bakker and Kwantum stores throughout the Netherlands. Goods are transported on pallets and roll containers and delivered directly to the stores.
Loading and unloading are part of your daily responsibilities. You will unload the goods using a tail lift and a manual pallet truck, work together with store personnel during deliveries, and collect returns and empty roll containers to bring back to the distribution centre.
You will visit 1-3 stores per day and work according to the daily transport planning. In addition to driving and deliveries, you will help ensure a smooth handover between shifts by loading the truck for the next driver at the end of your shift.
This is a physically active position involving the regular handling of furniture and home furnishing products. The average working day lasts between 8 and 10 hours.
You will work from Monday to Friday in a rotating two-shift system. The early shift starts around 04:00, while the late shift starts between 12:00 and 15:00. Occasionally, Saturday work may be required.
We offer
- Weekly payment (approx. €750 - €800 net, with own accommodation and health insurance)
- Hourly wage €19.46 gross
- €0.83 net compensation per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours: 130%
- Saturday allowance: 150%
- Sunday allowance: 200%
- Approximately 40-50 working hours per week
- Travel allowance €0.23 per km from 10 km
- Good pension plan in line with the TLN Collective Labor Agreement
- 24 vacation days + age-related extra days + 8% vacation allowance
- Dutch employment contract
- Accommodation available with single rooms
Job requirements
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Driving licence cat. CE, Code 95 and a digital tachograph card
- Experience as a CE truck driver is an advantage
- Experience in store distribution is preferred
- Good physical condition (manual loading and unloading required)
- Responsible, customer-friendly and independent attitude
