Driver C - garbage truck
Are you the garbage superhero we're looking for? Dive into the trash, tame the litter like a true ninja, and conquer the waste sector!
Whether you're a waste guru or just a cleanup fanatic at heart, this exciting adventure awaits you!
Responsibilities
As a Category C Driver, you independently and responsibly operate a truck. Your heroic task? Emptying semi-underground waste containers. Sounds like an easy job? Wait until you get a whiff of those containers!
What you will be doing:
- Independent and Responsible: You carry out your route completely independently. You've got this!
- Crane Operation: You're the master of the crane, emptying the containers safely and correctly. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility... and sometimes a messy car!
- Routine Work: Depending on the route, you empty between 30 and 35 containers daily. Yes, you read that right, that's more containers than most people will ever see!
- Communication and Administration: You communicate with planning via the on-board computer or a smartphone/tablet. Make sure you fill out the right documents, otherwise, you might have to drive a few extra rounds. And you don't want that!
Your Workplace
- Modern Fleet: You drive well-maintained, recent trucks (Volvo or Mercedes). Because who wants to drive a rattling old clunker?
- Working Hours: You start between 04:00 AM and 06:00 AM and work approximately 11 hours per day. Yes, you read that right, time to embrace your morning coffee!
- Client Work: You empty containers at, among others, nursing homes, schools, and catering businesses (Horeca).
