Driver CE | Events & Trade Shows
Are you an experienced CE truck driver looking for varied work in the Netherlands and abroad? You will transport furniture and carpets to events and trade shows. The work is physical, social and fast-paced, with direct customer contact. You work with an electric pallet truck and need to stay flexible during busy event days. Base: Dinteloord
Responsibilities
- Drive a CE box truck to events and trade shows.
- Transport furniture and carpets.
- Drive mainly in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, with occasional trips to Switzerland and Spain.
- Load and unload the truck yourself using an electric pallet truck (EPT).
- Have direct contact with customers and event staff.
- Help with practical tasks at the event, such as returning empty crates.
- Complete around 2 stops per day.
- Work flexible hours depending on the event schedule.
- Workdays can be any day of the week.
- Working days can exceed 10 hours and working weeks can exceed 50 hours.
- Sleeping in the truck is not possible.
- Work with different trucks, as there is no fixed truck.
- Start with an online meeting and, depending on your experience, an initial drive with a co-driver.
We offer
- Weekly payment: approx. €800–€900 net (excluding cost of accommodation and health insurance)
- Hourly wage: €16.64–€20.24 gross, depending on experience and TLN scale D1–D6.
- €0.83 net compensation per hour.
- Overtime after 40 hours: 130%.
- Saturday: 150%.
- Sunday: 200%.
- 40–50+ hours per week possible.
- Travel allowance €0.23 per km from 10 km, except when staying in our accommodation in Hoeven.
- Good pension plan in line with the TLN Collective Labor Agreement.
- 24 vacation days + age-related days + 8% vacation allowance, paid once a year.
- Dutch contract.
- Single-room accommodation available.
- 1 paid training day.
- Personal support from 24/7 drive.
Job requirements
- Communicative knowledge of the English language.
- CE driving licence, Code 95 and valid Driver Card.
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
- Minimum 3 months of experience with this type of truck.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to perform physical work.
- A flexible and social attitude.
- Willingness to work a busy and changing schedule.
- Own car required.
