Driver CE Hooklift Containers
Our client is one of the leading providers of paper-based packaging in the world, with operations across Europe and the Americas. They design, manufacture and supply paper-based packaging, while also providing reliable recycling solutions to ensure corrugated packaging and paper are recycled responsibly, efficiently and sustainably.
Join us as a CE truck driver in national transport in Belgium! You will collect waste and press containers filled with recycled paper using a truck with a hooklift system and truck-trailer combination. You will complete daily routes to companies throughout Belgium, working mainly from Monday to Friday. This is a daytime position where you return home every day, with flexible start times and the possibility to work additional hours for a higher salary.
Base: Antwerp / Departure from Merksem
Responsibilities
- Drive a CE truck with a hooklift container system and truck-trailer combination, collecting and transporting waste and press containers containing recycled paper.
- Make daily national trips within Belgium to different companies and complete approximately 2–4 stops per day.
- Start work between 03:00 and 06:00 and work approximately 10–12 hours per day, with the possibility to work additional hours if desired.
- Load and unload containers using the hooklift system.
- Work from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays possible in consultation; hours above 38 per week and Saturday hours are paid at 150%.
- Return home every day; overnight stays in the truck are not required.
- Experience with hooklift systems and truck-trailer combinations is an advantage, but the work can be learned on the job.
We offer
- Weekly payment of approximately €750–€850 net.(excluding accommodation and health insurance costs)
- Hourly wage €16.75 gross + extras
- €8.00 meal voucher per working day.

Job requirements
- Minimum of one year experience as CE truck driver
- Driving license cat. C+E, Code 95 and a digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Experience with hooklift systems and truck-trailer combinations is an advantage
- Flexible attitude towards working hours
- Own car (to drive to/from work)
- Willing to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays in consultation
