CE Truck Driver | Fresh & Chilled Food Distribution
Are you looking for a driving job with long routes, few stops, and plenty of independence? Then this position could be a great fit for you.
Start your day on the road and transport fresh and chilled food products throughout the Netherlands. As a CE Truck Driver, you will drive long-distance routes with only a few delivery stops per trip. The truck is loaded before departure, allowing you to focus on safe and efficient deliveries. You will work independently, drive modern equipment, and enjoy plenty of freedom on the road while being part of a professional transport company.
Base: Barendrecht
Responsibilities
You will transport fresh and chilled food products from the distribution centre in Barendrecht to customers across the Netherlands.
- Drive a CE box truck on national routes
- Transport products on pallets and roll containers
- Deliver to only 2-3 addresses per trip
- Use an electric pallet truck (EPT) or hand pallet truck when needed
- Collect empty packaging and return goods
- Follow daily planning and delivery schedules
- Work independently and safely
Working schedule
- Start between 03:00 and 14:00
- Work approximately 8-10 hours per day
- Work from Monday to Saturday
- Average 45-55 hours per week
- Paid training period of 3 days
We offer
- Weekly payment (approx. €900 - €1,000 net, excluding accommodation and health insurance).
- Hourly wage €20.24 gross in line with the 2026 TLN Collective Labour Agreement (Scale D6)
- €0.83 net compensation per worked hour.
- Overtime after 40 hours - 130%.
- Saturday allowance - 150%.
- Sunday allowance - 200%.
- 45-55 working hours per week.
- Travel allowance €0.23 per km from 10 km.
- Good pension plan in line with the TLN Collective Labour Agreement.
- 24 vacation days + addition of age-related days + 8% vacation allowance (paid once a year).
- Dutch employment contract.
- Single-room accommodation available.
Job requirements
- Communicative knowledge of the English language.
- Valid CE driving licence, Code 95, and Driver Card.
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a truck driver.
- Experience with a tractor-trailer combination is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and responsibly.
- Flexible regarding working hours.
- Reliable and professional attitude.
