CE Truck Driver – Sea Containers
Are you the perfect port hero with a CE driving licence for port transport?
If you don't mind traffic jams, love the bustling port atmosphere, and are okay with waiting around now and then, this could be the ideal job for you. Your day starts around 6 a.m., and you'll be driving between warehouses and terminals. Sometimes you'll be hauling containers, and other times you'll work with a baché or a box trailer.Tasks include loading or unloading and dropping off or picking up goods. You'll enjoy engaging with dock workers, stackers, or automatic loading under the crane. Occasionally,you'll find yourself standing on the weighbridge or driving through the scanner. It's all about variety!
Expect working days of approximately 10-12 hours, with all hours paid at a higher rate than standard, plus some meal vouchers to keep you fueled! No experience yet? If you have the right motivation, don't worry! You'll spend a few days with an experienced colleague who will teach you everything you need to know.If you have an ADR colli certificate, that's a plus; otherwise, we’d like you to obtain one in due course.Have we sparked your interest? Responsibilities
What does the job entail?You start your working day between 5:00 and 6:00 AM.
You transport sea containers between warehouses and terminals.
You may also work with box trailers or curtain-side trailers depending on planning.
You are responsible for loading, unloading, and moving containers or goods.
You operate within the port area and occasionally national transport routes in Belgium.
You have around 4 stops per day.
You work approximately 10–12 hours per day, all hours are paid.
You may pass through weighbridges or scanners depending on operations.
You work from Monday to Friday.
You receive a short introduction and training from an experienced driver.
We offer
- Weekly payment approx. € 800-900 net (excluding accommodation and health insurance costs)
- Hourly wage € 18.128 (including ARAB)

Job requirements
- Communicative knowledge of English or Dutch language.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CE truck driver.
- Driving licence cat. CE, Code 95 and digital tachograph card.
- ADR Class 1 (packages) is an advantage.
- Own accommodation and own car required.
