CE truck driver hook lift international
Are you an experienced driver with a passion for heavy-duty work? Would you like to drive a hooklift truck, pick up and deliver containers throughout the Netherlands, and are you willing to spend a few nights away from home each week? Then we have the perfect job for you! You will depart from Heerenveen on routes throughout the country, with overnight stays from Monday to Friday and working days averaging 10 to 12 hours. You will work according to a flexible schedule, which you will determine together with the planning department to find the best fit.
Responsibilities
Based in Heerenveen, you will be working independently with a modern hooklift truck and trailer. You will mainly be driving throughout the Netherlands and will often be on the road for several days, with 2 to 4 overnight stays per week. Your working days usually start between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and last an average of 10 to 12 hours. You will collect and deliver containers with various waste streams to customers and collection locations. No two days are the same: you will have a lot of freedom, but also responsibility for your cargo, your schedule, and your truck.
- Driving a hooklift truck with trailer
- Picking up and delivering containers to companies and collection locations
- Operation of the hook arm and lowering system
- Checking cargo and administrative processing via on-board computer
- Covering and securing loads
- Communicating with planning about loading and unloading times
Job requirements
- Communicative knowledge of the English language
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a CE truck driver
- Experience with hooklift truck is an advantage
- Driving license cat. C+E, Code 95 and a digital tachograph card
- Willingness to sleep in a truck (2-4 nights a week)
- Own car (to drive to/from work)
- Own accommodation
We offer
- Weekly payment € 850- 1100
- Hourly wage €20.24 (depending on the work experience) + extras
