Foreign health care bill claim

Please note that permission must be granted from Holland Zorg before you may be treated abroad (unless it is emergency care). 

To claim a foreign healthcare bill, it must be written in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish or Turkish. If not, a translation by a certified translator is required.It is a requirement that the invoice is fully readable. A receipt from a payment terminal is ther not accepted.

 The foreign health care bill must contain the following information:

  • Name, address, place of residence, and profession of the healthcare provider
  • Date of the bill and the date the care took place
  • Description of the care
  • Name and date of birth of the insured person
  • BSN or Holland Zorg registration number
  • It is Important that you first pay the invoice yourself before submitting it. After that you will receive the amount in your account.

Dutch Healthcare bill claiming

Do you have a Dutch invoice that you want to claim? Then it must meet the following conditions:

  • Original invoice, not a copy. A pin receipt does not meet the requirements.
  • The invoice of medicines must have a ZI code.
  • A healthcare provider's invoice must have an AGB code.
